1. Digital service only
OwnInvoice is a digital invoicing platform that provides tools, templates and cloud features to help customers prepare, save, download and share invoices.
2. The customer creates the invoice
Every invoice is created and submitted by the customer using the customer's own information, choices and instructions. The customer decides what to write, whom to invoice and when to send it.
3. Customer responsibility
The customer is solely responsible for the recipient, products or services, prices, quantities, taxes, payment instructions, dates, legal validity and regulatory compliance of every invoice.
4. No role in the transaction
OwnInvoice, its developer and the website owner do not create, approve, send, collect or receive payment for invoices. They have no role in the transaction between the customer and the invoice recipient.
5. No professional advice
The service is provided to reduce administrative work. It is not tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. Customers should review each invoice and obtain professional advice where needed.
6. Payments, disputes and losses
OwnInvoice does not guarantee payment, delivery, acceptance or recovery of any invoice. The customer remains responsible for payment disputes, unpaid amounts, refunds, chargebacks and communications with the recipient.
7. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OwnInvoice, its developer and the website owner are not responsible for user-entered information, invoice disputes, unpaid amounts, tax treatment, regulatory non-compliance or losses arising from an invoice or transaction.
