1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using OwnInvoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

OwnInvoice provides a software application designed to generate, manage, and share GST-compliant invoices. The accuracy of the data entered, tax calculations, and compliance with local tax laws remains the sole responsibility of the user.

3. Digital service and user responsibility

OwnInvoice is a digital invoicing platform. Each invoice is created and submitted by the customer using their own information and decisions. The customer alone is responsible for the recipient, products or services, prices, quantities, taxes, payment instructions, legal validity and compliance of every invoice. OwnInvoice, its developer and the website owner do not create, approve, send, collect or receive payment for any invoice and have no role in the transaction between the customer and the invoice recipient.

The service is not tax, accounting or legal advice. Please review every invoice and obtain professional advice where required. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OwnInvoice, its developer and the website owner are not responsible for user-entered information, invoice disputes, unpaid amounts, tax treatment, regulatory non-compliance or losses arising from an invoice or transaction.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when generating invoices.

5. Data Storage

OwnInvoice uses browser storage for local work and may sync account data, seller profiles, invoices, usage records and seller identity claims to its secure cloud service when you sign in. You are responsible for checking that your invoice information is accurate and keeping your account credentials secure.

6. Payment Gateway Processing

If you use our integration to collect payments via Cashfree, you agree to abide by Cashfree Payments' Terms of Service. OwnInvoice acts merely as a technological facilitator and does not hold, process, or guarantee the settlement of funds.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
